Nick founded The
Parallel Mind Ltd in 2002 to coach senior international lawyers
high level communication and business development skills.
His current clients include
Hogan Lovells LLP and Latham &
Watkins LLP.
Leadership
Nick co-authored “Getting
ahead” in Managing Partner February 2011 which looks at innovation in law
firms in the context of his Cass Business School, City University London
research findings which looked at the link between top leadership and
innovative organisations. He interviewed over 20 CEOs and senior leaders
in UK and
German Financial Services and Legal sectors. The research was benchmarked
with Bosch, BP, and Corus.
Nick interviewed Global
General Counsel in Europe, the Middle East and S E Asia for his 2009
Martindale-Hubbell article REPUTATION REPUTATION REPUTATION.
He co-presented, with
Daniela Sfameni, Head HR Allianz Global Investors, “What’s Your Big Idea?” Client Led
Innovation – How to Change into a Client Centric Organisation at the
2007 Professional Marketing Forum’s global conference

Nick organised, with
LexisNexis, a panel dinner, Law
firm profitability: New
challenges; fresh leadership, for Managing Partners at the Dorchester
Hotel in 2007. He is a career consultant to the Welsh Rugby Union and a
Leicester
Tigers Football Club Academy business skills coach.
Emotional
Intelligence
Nick helps leaders apply
Emotional Intelligence in the workplace. His articles on Emotionally
Intelligent Client Service have been published in the UK
(Fenman, Fresh Business Thinking and PM Forum) and the USA
(Professional Marketing International). He facilitates workshops and
speaks at conferences on how to use Emotionally Intelligent leadership to
transform organisations. He is researching Neuro Leadership Intelligence –
the evolving brain science of leading with the brain in mind.
Munich University Nick is
an Intercultural Communication programme
leader.
The Prince’s Trust He
is proud to be a Prince’s Trust Mentor and facilitates “Dare to be you!”
workshops.

coached executives in the private and public sectors in the
UK and Europe up to CEO level.

Eastern Europe & Financial Services courses in the Mediterranean.
