Nick is the founder of Leading by Coaching and C.E.O of The Parallel Mind Ltd www.parallel-mind.com (est. 2002). He began with the clear purpose of coaching top legal professionals to fulfil their true potential and has subsequently worked with other professionals in the Insurance, Finance and other commercial sectors.

 

He believes that a genuine desire to help a client or colleague as a fellow human is the key factor in gaining the necessary level of personal trust to win hearts and minds.

 

Nick’s multi-cultural coaching approach combines emotional intelligence with cutting edge neuroscience of how the brain works. Nick enjoyed four semesters at Munich University helping international graduate students improve their multi-cultural awareness and communication skills.

 

He led a major Cass Business School research project on leadership and innovation. He holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and training from the University of Wales and is an International Coaching Federation advanced level executive coach. Nick is also a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. He previously held a senior marketing position with Standard Chartered Bank Group.
